Data Land Software’s CD Label Designer puts powerful design tools at your disposal so that you can come up with good looking labels for your collection of CDs and DVDs. As the application was designed with ease of use in mind, you will have no problems with designing your label making project and printing out labels. So if writing down text on discs with a permanent marker is not an appealing choice, get this application and use it to design and print out labels.

You can install CD Label Designer in the language of your choice on a PC powered by XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. The setup wizard that guides you through the process invites you to choose between a Full, Compact, and Custom Installation. The Full Installation includes the following: main program files, help file, print layouts, background images.

When you’re done with the installation and you run the application for the first time, you will be presented with a 5-step configuration wizard. Go through it to set some configuration options: pick the optical drive you want to use for reading, enable/disable CDDB, set basic options for the default label design. And since we’re talking about wizards, it must be mentioned that the application also features a new label wizard.

CD Label Designer features a fairly straightforward layout that is easy to navigate. The label you’re working on is presented front and center on the application’s interface. To the left, right, and above, there are buttons and menus that allow you to design the label. You can change the interface’s feel by choosing one of the many styles it has to offer.

With the functionality CD Label Designer has to offer, you can create a variety of labels: front, back, inside, jewel case, sleeve, DVD box, round disk, business card labels, and booklets. The label can include a custom background, custom text, the images of your choosing, and various shapes. You are provided with all the tools, even a built-in browser, that you can need to design and print good looking labels.

CD Label Designer is free to use for a 15-day trial; the trial puts a watermark on the output.

Easily design and print a variety of labels for your collection with the powerful CD Label Designer.
